The ECUPL Summer School at the East China University of Political Science and Law was founded in 2015. It aims to provide a complete guide to the Chinese legal system and is open to all of the university’s international partner institutions. The program offers three weeks of classes and visits centering on the Chinese legal system. It seeks to help the international students gain a comprehensive understanding of the Chinese legal system, and to learn about the city of Shanghai and Chinese culture through cultural activities and interaction with Chinese students.
This program has been supported by ECUPL with scholarships in order to balance the number of places for incoming and outgoing tuition-free exchange students. It is only open to partner institutions that have cooperated with ECUPL in the student exchange programs. In 2019, there were 32 students from 14 partner institutions across 11 different countries and regions who participated in this program.
