According to the Notice from the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Holidays in 2020 (No. 16 [2019] Noticefrom the General Office of the State Council), and in light of the university’s current situation, the arrangements for New Year’s Day, Tomb Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2020 are as follows:
New Year’s Day
Jan 1, 2020, one day.
Tomb Sweeping Day
April 4 - April 6, three days (partly compensated by working on Saturday or Sunday).
Labor Day
May 1 - May 5, five days (partly compensated by working on Saturday or Sunday). Work on April 26 (Sunday) to make up for the classes on Monday; work on April 9 (Saturday) to make up for the classes on Tuesday.
Dragon Boat Festival
June 25 - June 27, three days (partly compensated by working on Saturday or Sunday). Work on June 26 (Sunday) to make up for the classes on Friday.
Mid-Autumn Festival & National Day
Oct 1 - Oct 8, eight days (partly compensated by working on Saturday or Sunday). Work on Sept 27 (Sunday) to make up for the classes on Tuesday; work on Oct 10 (Saturday) to make up for the classes on Thursday.
Before the holidays, the staff of all departments and schools should close the doors and windows of the offices, turn off all indoor power supplies, and carry out fire and theft preventionwork. During holidays and festivals, all departments and schools should arrange on-duty, reception and safety work in an orderly manner. Teachers and students should be more aware of safety precautions when going away to avoid personal injury and property loss. In the event of major emergencies, they should be reported without delayand handled properly in accordance with regulations.

All departments and schools are requested to do the relevant work according to the above arrangements.
