On April 14th, the International Exchange Center (International School) and the Office of Student Affairs jointly held the lecture themed “Studying abroad in the Post-Pandemic Era”. The lecture involved 5 special guests from a professional advisory team on studying abroad led by Dr. Kong Gaoning, an expert on international education.
Dr. Kong Gaoning, awarded with the title “Tencent Annual Women in Education Services 2018”, is the expert in the overseas study industry. In the lecture, she expanded on how to make plans to study abroad in the post-pandemic era, introducing the overall picture of studying in Britain, America, Canada and other English-speaking countries, noting the application schedule and other important details when applying for overseas study opportunities and giving suggestions on how to choose overseas universities and majors. Ms. Hu Shuangsang from the International Exchange Center introduced ECUPL’s long-term and short-term student exchange programs, with emphasis on programs enabling students to study abroad in our overseas partnering universities and scholarship-related information. Mr. Li Yong from the International School presented a detailed picture of ECUPL’s joint programs with its global partners, especially the LL.M. programs launched in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA and with the National University of Singapore respectively.
The professional advisory team provided free consultation and tailored planning on overseas study for the students present, and gave instructions on how to apply for overseas universities. The students expressed that they had benefited a lot from this lecture.
