On August 3rd, a delegation of the University of Western Australia, led by Michelle Wang, its senior manager (China), visited ECUPL. The team was warmly greeted by Wu Qiaofang, Director of International Exchange Center and Dean of International School.
On behalf of ECUPL, Wu Qiaofang welcomed the delegation, gave a general introduction of the history and strengths of ECUPL and detailed briefings of university partnership network and its exchange programs.
Michelle thanked ECUPL’s hospitality and said that she was quite impressed with the university’s education values, strengths and facilities. She expressed that the visit was to be such a prelude to UWA’s deepened connections with ECUPL based on a discussion of possibilities to establish a UWA Study Center @ ECUPL.
The delegation was accompanied to visit the living and study facilities on Changning and Songjiang campus of ECUPL, including classrooms, dormitory, canteens, libraries and stadiums, as a preparation for the establishment of the study center.
In recent years, ECUPL sticks to greater openness in launching its partnership with more institutions outside China and encourages the interactions between students from domestic and abroad.
