2026 East China University of Political Science and Law Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship for International Students Application Notice
I. Eligibility
- Non-Chinese citizens in good health condition.
- Age requirements: Applicants for master’s degree programs should be under 35 years old; applicants for doctoral degree programs should be under 40 years old.
- Applicants should not be recipients of other Chinese government scholarships at the same time.
II. Scholarship Coverage and Standards
- Category A: Exemption from tuition fees; free on-campus accommodation or off-campus accommodation subsidy; exemption from comprehensive medical insurance fees; living allowance (undergraduates: 2,500 RMB/month; master’s students: 3,000 RMB/month; doctoral students: 3,500 RMB/month).
- Category B: Exemption from tuition fees and comprehensive medical insurance fees.

November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.

V. Additional Notes for Scholarship Recipients
- Scholarship recipients must complete registration and enrollment procedures within the designated time set by the university. Failure to register on time without approval will be considered as voluntary withdrawal from enrollment, and the scholarship qualification will be automatically revoked.
- Scholarship recipients are required to participate in the annual scholarship review. Those who fail the review may have their scholarship suspended or canceled.
- In principle, scholarship recipients are not allowed to change their major or extend their study duration.
